Message Transcript In Ephesians, Paul describes the natural conflict and division between Jews and Gentiles. However, he reminds his readers that these opposing cultures have become fellow citizens and members of one household in Christ. This revolutionary idea should continue to challenge us as we imagine an alternative to the divisiveness and opposition which exists in our cross-cultural world. The “dividing wall of hostility” has been broken down by Jesus. Let us not build new walls in the community we built, but instead become people who embody the reconciliation of the cross in our worship, our friendships, and our service. "Together as one body, Christ reconciled both groups to God by means of his death on the cross, and our hostility toward each other was put to death." Ephesians 2:16
