Student Ministries
Student Ministries exists to walk alongside 6–12th grade students to help them become disciples of Jesus and prepare to be launched into the mission of God. We would love to get to know you and help you explore serving opportunities with students! Please read the following roles and click “connect” at the bottom of the page; we will be in touch.
Welcome Team
The Welcome Team wins when we help students feel welcome and seen as soon as they arrive. If you enjoy taking the first step and initiating conversation, if you have an easy time connecting with people and extending that connection to others, this may be a great fit for you!
Serving commitment is approximately one hour per Sunday.
Fuse Apprentice Leaders
Fuse Apprentices are current high school students with a desire to serve middle schoolers. Apprentices win when we model a growing and real relationship with Jesus. Apprentices practice spiritual disciplines (Bible Study, prayer, church) for themselves and are the most relatable model for middle schoolers.
Serving commitment is approximately 2 hours per Sunday.
Small Group Leaders
Small Group Leaders win when they consistently show up to Fuse or Merge and intentionally engage with students in their group. Small group leaders are desiring to grow as disciples of Jesus in their own lives and are willing to share their life with students in appropriate ways. All materials are provided to leaders each week.
Serving commitment is approximately 2 hours per Sunday, plus monthly leader gatherings.
Student Ministries Production Team
Production Team members win when we serve with excellence to operate sound, lighting, and video equipment during a Student Ministry worship service. If you have a knack for technology or just learning new skills, we'd love to have you join the production team. No experience is required; we will train you.
Serving commitment varies.
Student Ministries Worship Team
f you have a passion for leading other students in worship and are maturing as a disciple of Jesus, come audition and interview for the worship team. Vocalists, guitarists, bassists, drummers, keyboardists, and more are needed. Because this team is in the spotlight, we want our worship team to be clearly modeling a real and growing walk with the Lord. Equal weight is given to talent and spiritual life when considering members for this team.
Serving commitment varies, but can be about 3–4 hours per week scheduled
